Position Overview

Team Trident is seeking Subsea Technicians at the trainee level to support offshore and shop-based operations. The ideal candidate will have prior military service with a technical background or trade. This position is based out of Houston, TX and requires a combination of shop work and offshore assignments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Intervention Workover Control Systems (IWOCS)
• Support offshore operations for up to 25 days at a time
• Apply mechanical and hydraulic skillsets to subsea equipment and systems
• Work collaboratively within a team environment both in the shop and offshore
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining subsea control systems
• Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols

Qualifications

• Prior military service with a successful enlistment, preferably in a technical MOS
• 4–6 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical work
• Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX
• Ability to travel to Tomball, TX and offshore locations as required
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment

Work Environment

• Split time between a Houston-area shop (Tomball) and offshore assignments
• Offshore rotations may last up to 25 days
• Exposure to industrial and marine environments
