Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly bookkeeping for multiple companies using Quickbooks and other accounting software
  • Overseeing the creation and maintenance of accurate customer and vendor records within the accounting system.
  • Overseeing bank/credit card reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll entries.
  • Approving vendor invoices for payment and/or processing payments.
  • Drive month-end close activities, review monthly financial reports for accuracy and tax readiness, general ledger reconciliations-as well as intercompany reconciliations.
  • Keep company records, SOPs, and internal notes up to date.
  • Assisting the CFO and the finance team with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits.
  • Act as a liaison between acquired companies and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution
  • Other responsibilities within the Accounting and Finance Team.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems.
  • Having minimum 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, and accounting roles.
  • Experience with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO): Insperity (Preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience directly related to the position.
  • Active CPA (required).

Pay: $100,000 – 125,000 per year
