As a Security Officer for Cemetery Memorial Park in Whittier CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents visitor concerns and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout grounds buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify hazards policy violations and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances memorial areas and public spaces to help support respectful conduct assist with directions and report security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
• Support access control and after-hours security-related procedures by observing site activity checking designated areas and reporting irregularities according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
