Little Sprouts Preschool in Longmont is expanding! We are looking for an out of the box thinker for our Preschool program. This is a unique position at a small close knit center. We are launching a new Innovative preschool program and we are looking for a very special individual that can help carry out the vision. You must have a proven track record of creating lesson plans and solid classroom management skills are needed. A strong work ethic is required as well as lots of energy! We are looking for someone with preschool teaching experience. Childcare Center experience and a solid knowledge of Colorado State Childcare Regulations are required. We offer programs for children aged 2 1/2-6.

This position will be a great fit for someone that is a self starter, has great communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Teach STEM subjects to students, ensuring an inclusive and interactive learning environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods and materials to cater to different learning styles.
• Incorporate hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing timely feedback and support..
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate STEM education across various subjects.
• Stay current with developments in STEM education and integrate new knowledge into teaching.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to further knowledge and teaching skills.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students' progress and needs.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.

• The ideal candidate will have experience as a lead Preschool teacher.
• Is very familiar with the regulations for Colorado, as this will be a key part of your job.
• 1 year of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• knowledge of PDIS
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.
