Job Description

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Job Description

  • Manage litigation calendaring, deadlines, and court-related scheduling
  • Prepare, file, and serve documents in California state and federal courts
  • Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation documents
  • Draft and revise boilerplate pleadings, discovery shells, subpoenas, deposition notices, and related materials
  • Prepare binders, exhibits, and supporting materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
  • Assist with document productions and overall case management
  • Create and format tables of contents and tables of authorities
  • Support attorneys with special projects and day-to-day litigation needs
  • Help keep cases moving efficiently in a busy, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal and/or legal assistant experience
  • Strong knowledge of California state and federal court filing procedures, deadlines, and rules
  • Experience with calendaring litigation deadlines and maintaining case files
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems
  • Strong proofreading, formatting, grammar, and communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
