Head of Product Strategy Integration and Product Management

As the global Head of Product Strategy Integration and Product Management for Bayer's Digital Farming Solutions, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff and Head of Business Enablement. This executive role is pivotal in shaping and executing the digital product roadmap, particularly focusing on the FieldView Platform and tailored solutions like Preceon and Valora. You will be leading product strategy in the 2-year time frame, across the DFS Technical Community, to ensure cross-functional collaboration and maintaining alignment with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital products that meet the evolving needs of customers in the agricultural sector. Additionally, you will serve as the Professional Home Lead for the Product Management Technical Community, developing, coaching and upskilling a diverse group of product managers, so that DFS has the needed capabilities to drive business results .

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with and align key stakeholders across Commercial Regions, Engineering, Science, and Ambition Squads, ensuring clear prioritization inputs, strong decision alignment, and integration into a single, coherent product strategy.

• Lead Product Strategy Integration: Product Strategy Integration Work Team Lead - Own and drive the cohesive Product Strategy, translating and connecting product vision, technical capability and UX requirements, and business priorities into an integrated, actionable, and continuously evolving product strategy and roadmap.

• Professional Home Lead for Discovery Product Management Technical Community: Lead and mentor product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance. Drive professional development, standards, and knowledge sharing across a diverse team, ensuring strong discovery capabilities and consistent, high-quality inputs into product strategy.

• Drive Alignment on Product Strategy: Lead alignment across DFS, Engineering, Science, Regions, and Ambition Squads to define priorities, enforce trade-offs, and ensure a consistent, integrated product strategy. Identify risks to strategy and roadmap delivery, holding teams accountable for mitigation plans and resolution.

• Roadmap and Prioritization: Own and govern a cross-functional, integrated roadmap that reflects customer value and strategic priorities, connecting Product Strategy Leads into a unified direction. Drive prioritization decisions with business owners and stakeholders, ensuring clear sequencing of capabilities and deliverables based on value, constraints, and strategic intent.

• Lead Overall Communication of Roadmap Plans: Represent Product Strategy Integration in leadership forums, communicating the integrated roadmap, reinforcing priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes, and driving transparency across global and regional teams.

• Partnership in Delivery Effectiveness: As a member of the DES work team, partner with the Delivery Effectiveness team to ensure roadmap readiness, visibility, and accountability mechanisms are in place, supporting disciplined planning, prioritization, and execution across the portfolio.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, or related field

• Experience in product mgmt, strategy, or general mgmt, including leading teams

• Track record driving digital solutions in traditional agriculture with strong market understanding. Experience managing complex digital portfolios, including precision ag technologies and new business models.

• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams. Experience as a Hub Lead or similar, coaching product managers on best practices, innovation, and development. Proven ability to build high-performing teams and a culture of accountability, innovation, and improvement.

• Commercial and strategic agriculture experience with a customer-first approach that turns insights into product strategy. Deep knowledge of digital agriculture, including IoT, machine learning, and data analytics. Strong financial acumen in budgeting, valuation, and business case development for product initiatives.

• Strategic thinker who can set and drive a vision aligned to business goals and market opportunity. Proven experience in market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and the ability to leverage data to inform product direction and strategy.

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to grow relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to senior leaders, including C-level executives, and demonstrate executive presence in high-stakes environments.

Preferred:

• Master's (MS/MBA) in Business, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, or related field

• 18+ yrs in prod mgmt, strategy, or gen mgmt, including 15+ yrs leading teams.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $170k-256k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program (if relevant).?
