Estimator - Commercial Construction

A rapidly growing commercial construction and design company located in South Austin has an immediate opening for a Commercial Estimator. Job Details:

• Bid management and organization in company software (ERP system)
• Sending and receiving RFP's
• Sending and receiving RFI's
• Prepare take offs in company software (STACK)
• Bid preparation in Excel

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction
• 2+ years of estimating experience
• Field experience preferred: Masonry, Landscaping, and or Irrigation
• Comprehension of construction specifications
• Construction drawings takeoffs
• Takeoff software experience (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Stack, etc.) ? we use Stack, but many of the software options utilize the same process for takeoffs
• Intermediate in Microsoft Office 365 specifically Excel Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel to include VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and pivot tables
• Detail oriented & organized - this is critical when requesting pricing, additional information, and building a proposal. Information from our bids is used as handoffs to my PCs and construction team
• Deadline/Schedule oriented
