Digital Painter & Illustrator

Hybrid preferred | Remote Considered (with prior direct industry experience)

We’re an Oakland, CA based creative studio that curates and creates custom artwork collections for commercial spaces, specifically hotels and workplace interiors. Our work spans digital painting, murals, installations, photo collage, and everything in between.

*Game design is not applicable to this role. We prioritize candidates that will work in person from our creative studio in Oakland. We will consider fully remote candidates only if they have prior experience creating art or decor for hospitality or workplace environments.

What You’ll Do

· Create original digital artwork from client and team inspiration materials

· Paint in a wide variety of styles (expressive, abstract, realistic, photorealistic)

· Paint across varied subject matter (figurative, landscape, abstract, and more)

· Use Photoshop , Midjourney , and other tools to creating original artworks per client direction

· Collaborate with our creative team and respond to feedback

· Create digital renderings and concept visuals for 2D/3D art installations

· Assist with client-facing presentation materials

Must-Have Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience creating original digital paintings or illustrations

· Proficient in Photoshop , with familiarity in Midjourney and similar tools

· Experience painting in a wide variety of styles and subjects

· Strong grasp of composition, color, and visual storytelling

· Graphic design skills with a strong eye for brand-aligned design materials

· Familiarity with AI tools; leverage them to enhance creative development and concepting

· All artwork must be original – artist must verify copyright ownership

· Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting

· Ability to join video calls, art critiques, meetings; 9-5pm, PST

Bonus Skills

· Experience in fine art, art history, and interior design

· Art history knowledge and awareness of design trends

While we respect the creativity and technical skills involved in game design , this role is not related to game development or concept art for games and these skills are not typically aligned with the needs of this position. We’re specifically seeking artists with a background in painterly digital artwork for commercial interiors.

We strongly prefer candidates that will work in person from our creative studio in Oakland, California. We will consider fully remote candidates that have prior work experience with a company like ours – creating artwork for hospitality and workplace environments.
