Job Description

Do you care about keeping our waterways clean and free of harmful invasive species? Do you enjoy working with the public? Are you a dog lover? If this sounds like you, you may be a perfect fit with us at Mussel Dogs (a division of Dogs with Jobs LLC). We are looking to hire team members to assist with watercraft inspections at Lake Mendocino. Our teams check watercraft for aquatic invasive species before they launch. This is a job for someone that is willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. We will train qualified candidates. 

*We have part time seasonal positions open with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours. MUST have flexible availability during the week as well as ALL holiday weekends (Friday to Monday) from May to the end of September.

*You will be trained and responsible to inspect boats for invasive mussels prior to launching.

*Educate boaters on invasive species while using your customer service and data entry skills.

*No previous experience necessary.

*All employees including seasonal earn generous PTO as well as 401k contributions from the company after waiting period. Full Time employees are eligible for 100% company paid Medical/ Dental/ Vision insurance. 

**Please note this position OUTDOORS. You will be exposed to both hot and cold weather.**

Hourly Pay Range: $20.50 - $23.50 per hour
