Job Description

Summary

Instruct preschool-aged children 3 to 4 years of age in early childhood activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.

Duties

Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
Arrange indoor and outdoor space to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities safely.
Follow Bright From the Start rules and regulations.

Requirements

CDA/AA/BA or related diploma
Prior work experience in childcare
Current CPR/First Aid
Cogent Records Check
Outgoing Personality
